Sharing a parcel with the owner's house, the office skin and detailing emulate the dwelling, but the massing and proportions are entirely different. The scale of the office responds more to the huge live oak overshadowing the house, than to the diminutive bungalow itself. The smooth surfaces of the house interior have also given way to the exposed frame of an air transport fuselage, (in the case of the office interior). The natural light and verticality of the work space have made it a very pleasant work environment.
